Update 9/12 – This is available again, if you missed it last time. It’s listed with a 1-2 month backorder, but in my experience, Amazon tends to underpromise on those.
Sometimes, I’m still amazed that you can get a 55″ TV for $400, let alone one with 4K resolution, HDR10 support, built-in Roku software, and the ability to use your phone as a remote. This model is 1-4 weeks backordered, but you’ll still have it for all or most of football season.
$12 is a great price for any 4-port, 34W USB travel charger, but it’s especially noteworthy for one that includes detachable EU and UK plug adapters. Now you can keep your phone running when you travel abroad for vacation and/or flee the country.
$70 for a Logitech Harmony remote is a great deal on its face, but the real reason to buy this model is the included Harmony Home Hub.
The Hub allows you to use your iPhone, Android device, or even an Amazon Echo to control everything a Harmony remote can (which is basically any piece of home theater gear you can think of). So even when you inevitably lose the included remote behind the couch cushions, you’ll still have multiple ways to take control of all of your home theater gear.
Anker’s PowerLine and PowerLine+ cables were already our readers’ favorite charging cables, but the new PowerLine II line is even stronger, comes with a hassle-free lifetime warranty, and is a few bucks off on Amazon today.
We wrote more about the cables over on Gear, but the long and short of it is that between the extreme durability and the lifetime warranty, it’s quite possible that this will be the last Lightning cables you ever have to buy. The 3′ model is the one on sale this week, in both black and white.
Amazon’s entry-level Fire 7 tablet isn’t exactly a powerhouse, but it’s great for kids, or anyone that just wants a cheap portable screen to watch videos on planes or in cars, especially since it includes a microSD card slot for expandable storage. It’s a bargain at its usual $50, but Prime members can get one today for just $35 (discount shown at checkout).
Amazon is also taking $25 off the Fire HD 8 for Prime members now, which is probably the better choice for most of you. An extra $20 gets you a bigger, sharper screen, 50% more battery life, stereo speakers, and double the storage.
Update: As pointed out by Brandon in our Kinja Deals Community Facebook group, you can buy up to four by buying one of each color, skirting the one-per-account limit.
Portable battery packs with USB ports are a dime-a-dozen, but your options are a lot more limited if you need a portable AC outlet. The new Jackery PowerBar though is a great option at a solid price.
The PowerBar is a big battery pack, let’s get that out of the way right off the bat. It’s pretty similar in size to a tallboy beer can, albeit with flat sides, so you aren’t going to be sticking this in your pocket. But in that package, you’ll find a 20,800mAh battery pack, two USB ports (one of which features Quick Charge 3.0), a USB-C port that doubles as the input, and yes, a 100W AC outlet that can charge a laptop, power a lamp, or even run a small TV for a time.
Let’s compare to this RAVPower pack, a larger version of which I’ve tested previously. The Jackery’s AC outlet is more powerful (100W vs. 50W), it’s cheaper ($115 with this deal vs. $146), and it recharges over USB-C, so you don’t have to carry an extra proprietary charger to juice it back up. Wins all around.
For a limited time, our readers can preorder the PowerBar through Indiegogo for $115, or $14 less than the current Early Bird pricing tier for everyone else. It’s not expected to ship until the holidays, but they sent me an early version, and it works as advertised.
While mesh routers have broken through in 2016, the Wirecutter-recommended TP-Link Archer C7 though is one of the best “traditional” routers you can get, and it’ll only cost you $70 today, a match for Black Friday, and the best price we’ve seen.
Amazon usually sells certified refurbished Echo Dots for $5 less than new models, but for now at least, that discount has increased to $12. Refurbished Dots still carry the same warranty as new ones, so there’s really no downside to going this route if you want to sprinkle these around your home on a budget.
There have been a lot of deals lately on Apple’s W1-equipped Beats headphones, but $110 for a pair of BeatsX is within $10 of an all-time low, and a fantastic deal for iPhone owners that want an AirPods-like pairing experience on a budget.
“The Beats X are the third product from Beats (and the fourth from all of Apple) to use the new W1 Bluetooth chipset. This Apple-designed chipset should allow for better battery life. It also makes pairing with an Apple device a total snap—as long as your iPhone runs iOS 10.1 or higher. All I had to do to pair was turn the Beats X and bring them near my phone. A ‘Connect’ button instantly popped up and I was off—music ready to be heard wirelessly.”

You should own a stainless steel pan. Actually, you should own several of them, and you can pick up seven (plus five lids) from Amazon today for just $130.
Unlike some other tri-ply pans, these only have aluminum encapsulated in the base, rather than all the way up the walls, so they won’t heat up quite as quickly throughout. On the other hand though, they’re less than $20 per pan, and they should still be an upgrade over whatever pans you bought from Walmart when you moved into your first apartment.
Just remember that this is a Gold Box deal, so don’t leave it on the back burner.
Update: This deal is back again, if you missed the Gold Box over the weekend.
We’ve all had to throw away leftovers or cuts of meat and cheese that spent a little too much time in the fridge or freezer, but vacuum sealing your foods can keep them safe from freezer burn pretty much indefinitely, and dramatically extend their shelf life everywhere else.
It sounds like an expensive proposition, but today, Amazon’s selling this well-reviewed FoodSaver FM2435 starter kit for $89, or about $30 less than usual, and an all-time low. There are cheaper FoodSaver models out there, but the 2435 justifies its cost with a retractable vacuum sealing hose, allowing it to vacuum seal specially designed zipper bags, in addition to the usual heat-seal bags.
Of course you can use this to store meats in the freezer for a long time, but it can also keep cheese from molding, lettuce from wilting, or cookies from going stale, just to name a few examples. Think about how much food you throw away, and you’ll get a sense of just how quickly this purchase could pay for itself.
If your refrigerator doesn’t have an automatic ice maker, or if you just want one for something like a boat or an RV, this countertop model can produce up to 26 pounds of ice per day. Its $78 listed price is an all-time low on its own, but if you clip the 20% coupon on the page, it’ll drop all the way to $63.
I can’t say I’ve ever given much thought to salt and pepper grinders, but today’s Amazon Gold Box features Amazon’s top selling set, which boasts a 4.6 star review average from over 2,200 customers. If you aren’t totally satisfied with your current salt and pepper grinding situation, this is a great deal at $16.
Before you go out and flush $30 down the drain on a Yeti Rambler, check out this X-Chef alternative for just $10 on Amazon today, one of the best deals we’ve ever seen on this kind of thing. It uses the same vacuum-insulated stainless steel construction as a YETI or RTIC, so it should keep ice frozen for hours or even days, and hot drinks hot for as long as you need.
Note: You can choose in-store pickup for free, or get free shipping with a $50 purchase. If you don’t live near an REI and don’t want to buy anything else, you can get it from Amazon with Prime shipping for a few bucks more, though the price varies by color.
The WeMo Insight smart switch works just like a regular smartphone/Alexa/IFTTT-controlled WeMo Switch, but adds energy monitoring to the mix so you can see how much your appliances cost to run. We’ve seen it cheaper as a refurb in the past, but $35’s the best price Amazon’s ever listed on a new one.
You don’t need a wet/dry vacuum until you really, really need one, so prepare for the leaks life throws your way with this 5-gallon model, marked down to an all-time low $30 today, if you’re willing to wait out a backorder. You might not use this for your every day house cleaning, it’s one of those things that everyone should have in their garage.
Perhaps not the fanciest of office chairs, but with a price tag of just $80 with promo code 365T7MA9, it comes with the all necessary bells and whistles. It features an ergonomic design with an adjustable seat that can tilt to the perfect angle and height to maximize comfort.
$24 is Amazon’s lowest-ever listed price on these top-selling Bounty paper towels, but right now, an additional $2 coupon brings them down to a new low. You need paper towels anyway, so you might as well stock up.
Anker, producer of a lot of your favorite charging gear, has its own line of flashlights now, and you can get two of them for just $17 right now.
The entry-level LC40 model is IP65 dust and water resistant, but actually doesn’t include a rechargeable battery. However, you can run it on three AAAs or a single rechargeable 18650 battery, which is cheap and easy to find.
Normally priced at $180 or more, this Sun Joe all-in-one tool blows, vacuums, and mulches leaves for just $120 today. It’s cordless, lightweight, and uses the same batteries as the other Sun Joe products. It’s so easy to use you can get back to the important things in life – like sucking down those Pumpkin Spice Lattes.
No kitchen is complete without a good set of mixing bowls, and this 10-piece stainless steel collection (five bowls and five lids) is a steal at $28. They even have measurements etched on the inside so you end up with <very Great British Bake-Off voice> a good bake.

Oh, and the whole thing runs for up to three hours on a charge, so you won’t have to travel with the charger.
Merrell may be most known for their quality hiking footwear, and you can get a piece of that for less. The Philips OneBlade is the shaver of our choice for all of the men on our staff, and you can save $10 on its already affordable price tag right now when you bundle it with some extra blades.
Clip the $10 coupon on the page to get the OneBlade plus two extra replacement blades (three blades total) for $50. Individual replacement blades usually sell for $15, and two-packs go for $25, so you’re saving at least $10 here, and you’ll have enough blades to last an entire year (or longer, in my experience).
In addition to functioning as a normal digital bathroom scale, the BodySense can measure metrics such as body fat percentage and body water, and sync all of that data over Bluetooth to your iOS or Android smartphone. You can see my impressions here, but it’s the most seamless and reliable smart scale I’ve ever personally used, and a great deal at $40, or $10 less than usual.
Note: You’ll need code EUFY9140 to get the deal on the black model, but the white model is available for $40 without a code.
